Of Beauty and Loose Morals

Lately there has been a general outcry concerning the downward spiral that the morals of campus girls have taken in our country…. I\’m not going to pick a side, but I will say this… If anything is the problem in our country, it is the beauty of our women. Don\’t get me wrong, our women are plenty beautiful in this country… The problem, however, rests with how we perceive it… They say beauty is only skin deep and they weren\’t kidding….. No doubt, a beautiful woman will make it all more exciting and appealing (whatever IT is), but we have to look beyond the superficial, if we want to stop having all these morality issues that have quietly crept into society… Look at it this way, when you\’re buying a car, you don\’t only look at the body kit or the paint job…. Why buy a Ferrari with a Toyota engine inside? Our women are beautiful, yet we choose not to see it…. why? I don\’t know…. Gents, let\’s start appreciating the inner beauty of our Ladies…. There is so much more than meets the eye….
That\’s why I\’m posting this piece…. I\’ve paraphrased it from a friend…. She does have an interesting point of view…
Inner Beauty
The song that overcomes us this cloud-filled night,
Music of the spirit, that feels just right,
And like walking underwater, or drowning in dry air,
The peace in my insanity lies in knowing that you’re there.
I’m dancing to music you cannot hear,
The salsa, the mambo, the Mexican daqia,
The music is perfect, my steps are so kind,
The perfect dancer to the music in my mind.
I’m singing a song you’ve never heard,
My voice is high then low, soft then hard,
The fans are screaming, “My love My moon!”
As I coax out this gentle tune,
The flute whispers, so gently it calls,
The softest melody rises and falls,
It soothes the serpent, calms the nerves,
And gently strokes my body’s curves.
This is my music, this is my song,
My dance so gentle, my step so long,
My art is poetry, the gentle giant,
My beauty within, my spirit defiant.
